Born into a military family in Chowchilla, California, Dr. Corey Acree lived in several different areas prior to settling in Modesto, California where he married his wife, Bonnie Doub in 1990. Dr. Acree pursued undergraduate work at Modesto Junior College and the University of the Pacific as a pre-Dental student. He then went on to complete a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco, California graduating in 2001.
Dr. Acree is a member of the American Dental Association and the California Dental Association. He is also a member of the Stanislaus Dental Society where he previously served as chairman of Continuing Education and in 2012, served as President. Currently, Dr. Acree is Co-Chairman of the Hope Dental Van and has previously served as a committee or board member for CrossPoint Community Church, Great Valley Museum, Modesto Rotary and Pinnacle Forum.
He and his wife, Bonnie have two adult children, Sherah and James. Bonnie is a dental hygienist and works part-time in the office. Dr. Acree and Bonnie are also owners of the Ice Cream Company located in Modesto which reopened in 2012. In their spare time, they enjoy outdoor activities, musical events, and church functions.
Annually, Dr. Acree, his family, and staff members travel to Rancho Santa Marta in San Vicente, Mexico to provide humanitarian dental care for the orphan children and the ranch workers. Currently, Dr. Acree is involved with Hope Dental Van providing emergency dental care to those less fortunate in our community.
